Custom Design & Fabrication

When an off-the-shelf part does not fit the application, TechBravo can help design, modify, or fabricate a solution that does. We combine practical problem solving with digital design and hands-on fabrication to create parts, prototypes, fixtures, enclosures, and modifications built around the real job—not a catalog description.

What We Do

  • Custom parts, brackets, mounts, adapters, and enclosures
  • Functional prototypes and proof-of-fit components
  • Equipment modifications and application-specific upgrades
  • CAD modeling, dimensional development, and design refinement
  • 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, and CNC-assisted work
  • Control panels, wiring provisions, guards, fixtures, and jigs
  • Low-volume and one-off technical solutions

Designed Around the Application

A successful custom part has to do more than look right on a screen. It must fit, survive its environment, remain serviceable, and work with the surrounding equipment. We consider material choice, mounting, access, wiring, heat, motion, tolerances, and the people who will install or use the finished solution.

Projects can begin with a sketch, a broken or unavailable component, an existing machine, or simply a problem that has resisted standard solutions. We can refine the idea, evaluate practical constraints, and produce a usable result without turning a straightforward need into an overengineered project.

Typical Applications

  • Replacing obsolete or difficult-to-source noncritical parts
  • Mounting new technology in existing equipment or vehicles
  • Building fixtures for repeatable production or service work
  • Creating protective housings and organized control layouts
  • Testing a product idea before committing to production tooling
  • Improving the usability or serviceability of specialized equipment

From Problem to Working Part

TechBravo’s advantage is the ability to understand both the component and the larger system it belongs to. If the project also requires controls, communications, software, or documentation, those needs can be considered from the beginning instead of discovered after fabrication.

How We Work

We start with the problem, operating conditions, available space, interfaces, and definition of success. Concepts can be reviewed digitally, tested with a low-cost prototype, and refined before committing to a more durable part. When an existing component must be matched, measurements and functional requirements are documented so the replacement is based on more than appearance.

Fabrication methods and materials are selected for the actual use case. Safety-critical, regulated, or high-load parts may require engineering review or certified production beyond the scope of a typical custom job, and those limits will be discussed early.
